GESTALT PLAY THERAPY LEVEL 2 (GPT2)

Participants who have successfully completed the Level 1 course may continue with the Level 2 course. In this Level 2 course, participants are provided with a practical working structure designed to help them guide children toward full awareness of their own behaviour.

The course integrates the Gestalt Intervention Framework, emphasizing experiential learning and self-awareness as tools for supporting children’s emotional and behavioural growth.

Participants will learn how to apply Gestalt principles in real-world settings to foster responsibility, presence, and self-understanding in the child.

When you register and pay for both courses – Part 1 and Part 2 – you will receive a complimentary copy of the book, A Gestalt Intervention Framework for Play Practitioners (GIFPP by Dr. Hannie Schoeman, 500 pages, price R595.00 including Pudo delivery). This book is referred to and advised reading for Level 1 and required reading for Level 2.

Participants registered with a professional board will receive CPD accreditation as follows on successful completion of the course.

CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
The SACSSP (South African Council for Social Service Professions) has approved and accredited our courses and participants who are registered with a recognised professional board may qualify for CPD points upon successful completion of the course if their board allows external CPD points. The ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners) for example recognizes external CPD points from other recognised professional bodies, including the SACSSP.

SACSSP CPD Accreditation (Valid for 2026/2027):

• Level 1: 18.5 CPD Points
• Level 2: 14 CPD Points

CPD certificates will be issued upon successful completion of all course requirements.
